Radius is aimed at pension schemes of £10m-£100m in size. However, trustees of schemes greater than £100m can also obtain a Radius quote if the scheme benefits fit the Radius data template.
- Do you require exclusivity before quoting?
There is no requirement for schemes to work exclusively with us to obtain a quote.
- Are your quotes indicative or guaranteed?
All our quotes will be guaranteed and transactable unless explicitly stated in our proposal.
- For schemes that have already completed GMP equalisation, can you quote and incept on an equalised basis?
Yes, data to price GMP-equalised benefits can be provided in the Radius data template including where equalisation was completed using a dual records method.
- Do schemes need to provide a legally reviewed benefit specification to obtain a quote?
Whilst not absolutely necessary, it is helpful to provide one.
- How are contractual terms agreed for buy-ins through Radius?
Radius clients are offered fundamentally the same contractual terms we offer all Rothesay clients, with some pragmatic simplifications to keep the operational requirements proportionate.
- If a scheme completes the Radius data template, will Rothesay guarantee to quote?
Yes, assuming all benefits to be insured fit the data template and the timescales communicated to us have not changed materially. We are happy to talk to scheme advisers about the quotation process before any time and money is spent populating our template.
